What we believe
That “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God,” that both Old and New Testaments constitute the divinely inspired Word of God, inerrant in the originals, and the final authority for life and truth.
That there is one God who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His vicarious death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, His mediatorial intercession, and His personal pre-millennial second coming in power and glory.
That man, although created by God in His own image and likeness, fell into sin through disobedience and thereby the whole human race fell in sin and “so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.”
That salvation is available by God’s grace through repentance and faith and that the Holy Spirit is active in regeneration and in transforming the believer into the image of Christ. This being a “New Birth.”
That the Church is the body of Christ; that all who are united by faith to Christ are members of the same, and are thus candidates for membership in the visible. Having become members one of another, it is our solemn and covenant duty to fellowship with one another in peace, and to love one another with pure and fervent hearts.
That all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ are called into a life of separation from worldly and sinful practices, and should abstain from such amusements and habits as would cause others to stumble, or bring reproach upon Christ and His Church.
In the evangelization of the world through missions both locally and gobally.
That the Lord Jesus Christ in His literal resurrection from the dead is the living guarantee of the resurrection of all human beings; the believing saved to conscious eternal joy, and the unbelieving lost to a conscious eternal punishment in hell.
