Music Director Michael Swanger: Having grown up in a musical family and at Peoples, Michael has been singing his entire life.  He has a passion for music and worship and loves the sound of tight harmony.  Michael grew up listening to southern Gospel music but has learned to appreciate contemporary styles and incorporate them into our worship services.  “We sing the oldest Hymns to the newest Worship songs and let the Lord do the rest!”

Michael is married to Ashley and they have four children; Leigha, Leighton, Madden and McKinleigh.

Children’s Director  –  Robin Allman Riggins:  Robin Allman Riggins came to Peoples Memorial Christian Church in 1970 when her father, the late Rev. C. Max Allman, became the pastor.  For 15 years, she served alongside her father as Music Minister and she worked in children’s and youth ministries as well as leading ladies’ Bible studies.   After leaving Peoples in 2005, Robin served as Music Minister at both The Church @Burlington and Harvest Baptist Church.  While at Harvest, Robin and her husband, Steve, lead the middle school program for three years, and God used them grow that program, tripling the attendance.  Robin also began teaching preschool at The Learning Center in 2013 where her passion for working with children continued to grow.  Now, she is very excited to bring that passion to Peoples Memorial.  Robin and Steve have 3 sons; Wes, who is married to Kendal,  Caleb and Elijah (Eli).
