Care Ministry

The ministry of Jesus Christ was build on compassion and grace to those suffering.  In Matthew 11, Jesus encouraged people to bring their problems to him and that he will give them peace and rest.  Peoples Memorial Christian Church is passionate about continuing the ministry of Jesus Christ by being a beacon of hope into the community.

PMCC supports Caring Kitchen, a outreach ministry in Burlington.   Many have been blessed through this ministry whether it is through serving others or benefiting from a warm meal. The ministry is run by volunteers who help prepare and serve the meals in addition to helping with the cleanup after the meals each Saturday and Sunday. Each week we remind those we serve that God cares for and loves each of them.

PMCC partners with Greater Hope Counseling Services to offer Care Groups to the church and the community.

  • Divorce Care
  • Maternity Group
  • Caregivers Group

PMCC is passionate about equipping others to serve those in the greatest need.  Training and information sessions will equip participants in learning warning signs of distress in others and options for providing help to those individuals.
